About Pawapuri Jal Mandir
Set in the middle of a serene lotus-filled lake, the Jal Mandir at Pawapuri is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in Jainism. Lord Mahavira attained Nirvana (Moksha) here, and his body was cremated on this very spot.
